STEP 1
FORMULATIONS
We love our families, friends, and pets. That is why we carefully select our ingredients. At the core of our commitment is the promise to provide non-toxic formulations that are free of chemicals that can pose risk to human health. That is why we do our best to choose only those ingredients classified as safer alternatives with organizations like Cleangredients® and EPA Safer Choice®. In essence, we are making decisions that reduce the risk of being exposed to bad stuff.
STEP 2
PACKAGING
Our goal is to improve long term quality of life for humans and the long term health of natural eco-systems. Reducing environmental and ecological impact is the basis of our promise. Traditional packaging simply does not meet our standards and we are focused on providing consumers more mindful ways of using products safely. We looked beyond our formula and set standards for our entire supply chain – from manufacturing, to basic function, to end of life and rebirth.
STEP 3
TESTING
We know DetraPel® will be used on a variety of surfaces and inevitably, it will come in contact with your skin. That is why we conduct risk assessments using third-party toxicologists to verify the safety of our formulas. To ensure our products perform under a variety of fabrics and conditions, we follow ASTM and ISO testing protocols. To verify that our products work equally well at all stages in their lifecycle, we conduct formula stability testing using varying conditions and temperature changes. We do all of these things to make sure our products live up to the promise of the brand.
STEP 4
PRODUCTION
Ingredient and material selection are the building blocks to producing great products, but how it all comes together defines how an organization operates. To remain committed to providing the highest in quality and efficiency, we follow GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice). These principles aim to ensure and promote safety, consistency, high quality, and reliability of chemicals throughout the entire manufacturing process.
