TO OPEN YOUR BOTTLE:

Remove the protective shrink band from the bottle. Take off the clear plastic cap. Press on trigger forcefully to break the seal. Once you hear a click, your bottle is ready to use.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

Always test in a hidden area for colorfastness & compatibility. For best results, treat stains immediately.

To start, REMOVE all excess in stained areas by blotting with a colorfast cloth or paper towel. Shake the bottle well and spray 6-8″ away from the surface. SATURATE stain. BLOT and gently rub the stained area with a damp colorfast cloth, paper towel, or soft-bristle brush. REPEAT until stain is removed. Clean area thoroughly with water and damp cloth to remove residual stain and product.

**For Tough Dried On Stains** Spray stain and let sit for 10 minutes. Rewet with water, then gently rub and dab. Repeat until stain is removed. For old stubborn stains, let sit for up to a maximum of 24 hours. If needed, rinse and repeat.

NOTE: Some stains will cause permanent discoloration even after cleaning. NOT recommended for use on leather, silk, or cashmere.

How quickly does it remove stains?

Most stains will start disappearing on contact with one application of DetraPel Clean AF Pet Stain & Odor Remover. If treated immediately, a stain can disappear in as little as 15 seconds. For tough, dried-on stains you can spray the formula onto the affected area and let it sit from 15 minutes, up to 24 hours. Reapply DetraPel Clean AF Pet Stain & Odor Remover as needed.

What is a colorfast test?

We always recommend doing a colorfast compatibility test on your material. First, choose a hidden or inconspicuous corner and apply the formula. Leave for 2-3 minutes and then blot with a white paper towel. If the colors do not change, run, or come off on the paper towel, then you may safely use DetraPel Clean AF Pet Stain & Odor Remover on the tested surface.

What do I do to prevent a ring from remaining around the area where my stain was?

It is important to properly remove all soapy residues to prevent rings from forming on your fabric material. We suggest rinsing the area thoroughly with water and a sponge or using a steam cleaner. Failure to remove residue properly can leave a ring or can result in the spot collecting dust over time.

Why does the formula not work on my pet stain?

While DetraPel Clean AF Pet Stain & Odor Remover is more powerful than other stain removers on the market, it’s still important to note that some stains are just more stubborn than others! In the event that your stain is not coming out, we suggest repeating the steps for significant improvement to be made.
