TO OPEN YOUR BOTTLE:
- Remove the protective shrink band from the bottle.
- Take off the clear plastic cap.
- Press on trigger forcefully to break the seal.
- Once you hear a click, your bottle is ready to use.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Always test in a hidden area for compatibility. For best results, treat stains immediately. To start, REMOVE excess dirt from surface. SPRAY a lint-free, colorfast cloth. GENTLY SCRUB stained area in one direction. REPEAT step 2 & 3 until stain is removed. Let it fully dry. TIP! After cleaning, use DetraPel Conditioning Protector to keep your leather looking new longer!
Note: Regular cleaning & conditioning will prevent leather from drying and cracking, which will improve longevity. Recommended for use on leather, vinyl, & other synthetic leathers.

DetraPel Leather Cleaner is designed for use on all your leather and faux leather goods, such as shoes, wallets, purses, belts, jackets, furniture, auto seats, saddles, and more!
Do I really need a lint-free cloth to clean my leather?
We recommend using a lint-free, colorfast cloth for the ideal application. Never spray directly onto the leather. If you don’t have a lint-free, colorfast cloth available, you can certainly use a paper towel or horse hair brush. If you intend to use another application method, make sure to test a hidden area first before doing a full application.
Can I use this on Vegan Leather?
Yes, DetraPel Leather Cleaner is safe for vegan leather. We do recommend testing for compatibility in a hidden area before any application!
Is DetraPel® safe to use around people and animals?
Absolutely. At DetraPel, we put your family’s safety first. We want you to have the peace of mind in knowing that our products are safer alternatives to other known products on the market which are dangerous to you, your kids or your pets. Rest assured you can safely use DetraPel as directed inside your home.
Will it discolor my leather?
No. DetraPel Leather Cleaner is not known to change the look or feel of any surface. However, we do recommend testing in a hidden area for compatibility and colorfastness prior to use.
What is a colorfast test?
We always recommend doing a colorfast compatibility test. First, choose a hidden or inconspicuous corner and apply the formula. Leave for 2-3 minutes and then blot with a white paper towel. If the colors do not change, run, or come off on the paper towel, then you may safely use DetraPel Leather Cleaner on the tested surface.
Can I spray this directly onto my leather?
We recommend spraying a cloth, paper towel, or brush and then applying the cleaner to your leather surface to avoid oversaturating. Too much of the cleaner can be more detrimental than none at all.
How often should I clean my leather?
We recommend cleaning your leather often to keep it lasting for many years to come! Frequently used items should be cleaned and conditioned every 2 months to keep them looking new. For products that get less wear and tear and are not exposed to harsh conditions, you can clean and condition them every 6 months. Tip! We recommend using DetraPel Leather Conditioning Protector after cleaning to revive & restore flexibility to your item.
Can I clean my suede with this product?
We do not recommend using this product for suede. We are in the process of developing a new Suede Cleaner.
